The movie Kalki 2898 AD has not just stormed the box office but has left a trail of record-breaking earnings that are truly impressive. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film raked in ₹95 crore on its first day in India, while global collections reported by Vyjayanthi Movies totaled ₹191.5 crore. Released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, the Telugu version led the pack with ₹64.5 crore, boasting an impressive 85.15% occupancy rate.

Comparing it to previous blockbusters, “Kalki 2898 AD” surpassed last year’s top opener “Jawan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, which earned ₹75 crore on its first day. It now stands as the third-highest opener in Indian cinema history, outshining “KGF Chapter 2” with its ₹159 crore opening day collection.
