BJP Dominates in Haryana with Historic Hat-Trick

After the BJP’s historic hat-trick victory in Haryana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah pointed at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, emphasizing that the results imparted a crucial lesson. He praised Haryana—renowned for its farmers and soldiers—stating that the state has sent a clear message to those who criticize the nation abroad for political gain. Shah expressed his gratitude to the people of Haryana for allowing the BJP to serve for a third consecutive term.

Following this significant electoral win, party leaders, including JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
In the aftermath of the Haryana elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi downplayed the Congress defeat’s potential impact on Maharashtra’s upcoming assembly elections while also acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead for both opposition and ruling parties. “The Haryana polls won’t affect Maharashtra, but it won’t be an easy battle for anyone,” she remarked.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis celebrated the BJP’s win as a testament to the public’s rejection of the opposition’s narratives. “For the first time in 60 years, a party will achieve a third consecutive term in Haryana. Despite the opposition’s attempts to sway voters with various issues, including caste politics and the Agnipath scheme, the people chose Modi’s vision for development,” he asserted. Fadnavis also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s pre-election theatrics, declaring that such tactics no longer sway voters.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed deep appreciation to Prime Minister Modi for his unwavering support, emphasizing Haryana’s continued progress under his leadership. “Your dedication to fulfilling the people’s aspirations has been embraced as a guarantee of good governance, leading to our historic third consecutive term,” Saini noted in a heartfelt post.

The election results are a significant blow to the Hooda family, long prominent in Haryana’s Jat politics. Despite a decade of anti-incumbency against the BJP, Bhupinder Singh Hooda could not secure victory for Congress. Analysts question whether the Hoodas need to expand their political strategy beyond Jat-centric approaches.
The BJP triumphed with 47 seats, exceeding the majority mark of 46, while Congress followed with 36 seats. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) secured two seats, and independent candidates claimed three. Congress candidate Mamman Khan celebrated his win in Ferozepur Jhirka, thanking voters for their support.

Prime Minister Modi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Haryana, asserting that the victory represents a triumph of development and good governance. “I salute the people for granting us a clear majority once again. We are committed to fulfilling their aspirations,” he tweeted, congratulating dedicated party workers for their relentless efforts.

BJP leader and actress Kangana Ranaut joined the celebrations, congratulating Modi, Shah, Chief Minister Saini, and others for this momentous win.
In a curious remark, former WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh linked wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s electoral success to his influence, suggesting his name holds substantial power. He also ominously hinted at future chaos associated with her political journey, declaring that “wherever Phogat goes, destruction follows.”

Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh raised concerns about the counting process and the functioning of EVMs in at least three districts, signaling potential controversies that may arise from the election results.
In this electrifying political landscape, the implications of Haryana’s elections will undoubtedly reverberate across the nation, shaping the narratives leading up to upcoming contests.
