Actor Nivin Pauly Cleared in Rape Case Exonerated by Kerala Police After Thorough Investigation

In a significant turn of events, actor Nivin Pauly has been officially exonerated in the rape case filed against him back in September. Kerala police have cleared the actor of all charges following a detailed investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which found no evidence supporting the allegations.

The SIT thoroughly reviewed Nivin’s emigration records, credit card transactions, and other travel details. Their findings revealed that the actor was not present at the location where the alleged incident occurred, ultimately leading to his removal from the list of accused.

In a heartfelt Instagram message, Nivin expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout this challenging period. “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by me. Thank you for all the love, prayers, and support,” he wrote. Fans flooded the post with messages of support, while fellow actors like Shwetha Menon and Saniya Iyappan shared their joy with heart emojis.

The SIT investigation was transparent: “We scrutinised his (Nivin’s) emigration details, credit card transaction records, and other travel details. The findings didn’t corroborate the allegations, so we decided to remove his name from the accused list,” a report by Onmanorama confirmed.

The case, which initially made headlines in September, was triggered by allegations brought forward by a complainant to the SIT, formed after the release of the Hema Committee report on sexual misconduct within the film industry. The police acted swiftly upon the case, and after a detailed review of the evidence, they have now cleared Nivin Pauly of all charges.

On November 6, Kerala police officially submitted a report to the First Class Magistrate Court, confirming Nivin’s exoneration and marking the end of a difficult chapter for the actor.
