Gold and Silver Prices For Today: Showed Slight Decrease
Today’s gold and silver prices showed a slight decrease. The current price of 24 carat gold is Rs. 7349.5 per gram, down by Rs. 24 from the previous rate. For 22 carat gold, the price is Rs. 6732.1 per gram, which is Rs. 22 lower than before.
The price of 24-carat gold has dropped by 0.69% over the past week and increased by 1.91% over the last month.
In futures trading, August 2024, MCX gold was priced at Rs. 71688.0 per 10 grams, marking a decrease of 0.071% from the previous trading session. Meanwhile, in September 2024, MCX silver futures were trading at Rs. 90948.0 per kilogram, down by 0.214%.
Fluctuations in gold and silver prices are influenced by various factors, including inputs from reputable jewelers, global demand for gold, currency exchange rates, prevailing interest rates, and government regulations related to the gold market. Global economic conditions and the strength of the US dollar against other currencies also play significant roles in determining gold prices in the Indian market.
