At the start of the week, the price of 24-carat gold saw a slight decline of Rs 10, with ten grams of this precious metal trading at Rs 73,350, as reported by the GoodReturns website. Similarly, the price of silver also slipped by Rs 100, with one kilogram of the precious metal selling at Rs 86,900. While these changes may seem small, they are significant indicators for those involved in the precious metals industry, keeping them informed and aware of the market trends.

The price of 22-carat gold also decreased by Rs 10, with the yellow metal selling for Rs 67,240.

The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in Mumbai remained consistent with prices in Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 73,350. In Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 73,500, Rs 73,350, and Rs 73,630, respectively.

Likewise, in Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold was Rs 67,240, on par with that in Kolkata and Hyderabad. In Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 67,390, Rs 67,240, and Rs 67,490, respectively.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi was Rs 86,900, the same as in Mumbai and Kolkata. In Chennai, the cost of one kilogram of silver stood at Rs 90,400.

US gold prices increased on Monday due to weak US employment figures, which led to increased bets on a Federal Reserve interest rate cut.
