Kanpur Couple’s Time Machine Scam Dupe Couples Out of ₹35 Crore
In a jaw-dropping turn of events, a couple from Kanpur has allegedly duped over two dozen couples out of an astounding ₹35 crore with a preposterous pledge: an ‘Israel-made time machine’ that could rewind them to their 25-year-old selves.
Meet Rajeev Dubey and his wife, Rashmi, the masterminds behind the so-called “Revival World” therapy center in Kanpur’s Kidwai Nagar. They claimed that their miraculous “oxygen therapy” would reverse the effects of aging and pollution, but the magic didn’t come from a machine—it came from an elaborate scheme.
The couple offered packages ranging from ₹6,000 for 10 sessions to ₹90,000 for a three-year membership, enticing clients with discounts for those who referred other couples, effectively turning their operation into a pyramid scheme.
However, the much-anticipated “time machine” never materialized. Following a complaint from several victims, including Renu Singh—who reported losing ₹10.75 lakh—the police have launched an investigation. Singh’s allegations were pivotal, prompting the authorities to file a case against the Dubeys under Section 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Airports have been alerted to prevent them from fleeing the country,’ she assured.
