Gold prices showed a slight increase on Friday. 24-carat gold is priced at Rs. 7353.3 per gram, up by Rs. 413.0 from the previous rate. Similarly, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs. 6735.6 per gram, reflecting an increase of Rs. 378.0.
Over the past week, the price of 24-carat gold has risen by 1.6%, while over the last month, it has seen a slight increase of 1.53%. Silver is priced at Rs. 87220.0 per kilogram, increasing Rs. 100.0 per kilogram.

Looking at futures trading, as of the latest update, gold futures for August 2024 on the MCX were trading at Rs. 71418.0 per 10 grams, showing a decrease of 0.215%. Meanwhile, silver futures for December 2024 were trading at Rs. 91986.0 per kilogram, up by 0.256%.
