A shocking new controversy has emerged involving popular Pakistani TV host and influencer Mathira Mohammad after a series of explicit videos allegedly featuring her were leaked online. The videos depict her in compromising situations and have rapidly circulated across social media, although their authenticity remains unverified.

Mathira, known for her diverse career as a model, dancer, singer, and actor, has fiercely denied the claims, accusing malicious individuals of using her name and photos to create fake, damaging content. “People are misusing my name, photoshooting pictures, and adding fake stuff. Please have some shame! Keep me out of this trashy nonsense,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The 32-year-old influencer boasts over two million Instagram followers and is no stranger to the spotlight. Still, this latest scandal has put her at the center of an alarming debate on privacy, deepfake technology, and online harassment.

This incident comes from similar controversies involving other social media stars. Just days earlier, a private video of Pakistani TikTok sensation Imsha Rehman, showing her in an intimate position, went viral, sparking a massive online backlash. Many accused her of intentionally leaking the video for attention, leading to overwhelming criticism and forcing Rehman to deactivate her social media accounts. Before that, Pakistani influencer Minahil Malik found herself at the center of a similar scandal, with a leaked video of her and her boyfriend circulating online. She, too, claimed the video was fake and filed a formal complaint with Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Adding to the global scope of the issue, another explicit video, reportedly featuring Indonesian e-sports star Lydia Onic, was leaked on November 15. While it has not been confirmed whether the individual in the clip is genuinely Lydia, the incident has raised serious concerns about privacy violations, the rise of deepfakes, and the exploitation of online personalities.

These disturbing events highlight the growing risks influencers and celebrities face in the digital age, as their images and identities are increasingly manipulated and exploited without consent.
