The BJP has fielded 11 incumbent Lok Sabha MPs and nominated new candidates in the Barabanki (SC) and Kaisarganj constituencies. Within the ‘INDIA bloc ‘, a coalition of political parties, the Congress has nominated K L Sharma from Amethi, Tanuj Punia from Barabanki (SC), and Pradeep Jain ‘Aditya’ from Jhansi. At the same time, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has fielded candidates in the remaining seats.
