NEET UG 2024 Answer Key Released by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) late on May 29. Students can check it out and download it from the official website.
Key Dates and Process
Last year, the NTA released the NEET answer key on June 4 and declared the results on June 13. Students can challenge the provisional answer key this year within a specified deadline. After reviewing the challenges with an expert committee, the NTA will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare and declare the NEET UG results.

Exam and Attendance Details
The NEET UG 2024 exam saw participation from over 24 lakh medical aspirants competing for about one lakh MBBS seats. According to NTA data, the exam was attended by:
- 9,96,393 male candidates (96.92% attendance)
- 13,31,321 female candidates (96.96% attendance)
- 17 transgender candidates (94.44% attendance)
The overall attendance was recorded at 96.94%.

How to Check and Download the Answer Key and OMR Sheet
Follow these steps to check and download your NEET UG OMR sheet and official answer key:
- Visit the NTA official website for NEET.
- Click the ‘NEET 2024 OMR Sheet and Official Answer Key’ link.
- Log in to the candidate portal using your application number and password/date of birth.
- Download the OMR sheet and answer key PDF.
Candidates can also submit representations against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question.
