Neymar Slams Mbappe: Real Madrid’s Brazilian Contingent to Endure ‘Hell’ on the Pitch

Kylian Mbappe has been making waves in the football world recently, especially following his high-profile move from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Real Madrid. As part of his new five-year contract with Los Blancos, Mbappe is leaving behind his eight-year stint at PSG. But as the French superstar settles into his new role, an intriguing warning from his former PSG teammate Neymar has surfaced.

Neymar, who played alongside Mbappe at PSG from 2017 to 2023, has reportedly shared his less-than-stellar experiences with his Brazilian colleagues at Real Madrid. According to journalist Cyril Hanouna, Neymar has warned Vinicius Jr. and other Brazilian players at Madrid that playing with Mbappe was akin to a “nightmare.”

Hanouna, speaking on Europe 1, revealed that he described his time with Mbappe as “hell,” expressing his frustrations with the French forward. “The Brazilians at Real Madrid are friends with Neymar, and Neymar has been quite vocal about his tough experience with Mbappe,” Hanouna stated. “He’s told them it was catastrophic.”

The high expectations for Neymar, Mbappe, and Lionel Messi, who joined PSG in 2021, did not quite pan out as anticipated. Despite the trio’s potential to create magic on the field, they struggled to gel and adapt their styles. Neymar left PSG for Al Hilal in 2023, and Messi’s brief stint with the Parisian club ended as he moved to Inter Miami. Mbappe’s departure from PSG, thus, marks the end of an era filled with both brilliance and tension.
