Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Om Birla’s re-election as Speaker of the Lok Sabha, acknowledging his invaluable experience from his previous term. He emphasized Birla’s unique distinction as the only Speaker since Balram Jakhar in 1985 to serve two full terms, underscoring the responsibility and record-breaking nature of his re-election.
