Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s Epic Reunion: Vettaiyan Set for October 10 Release!
Exciting news for Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan fans! The release date for their highly anticipated film Vettaiyan has been announced. Mark your calendars for October 10, 2024! The film will hit theaters worldwide, and Lyca Productions has just shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), unveiling a striking poster of Rajinikanth in an IPS uniform. The caption promises, “Target-locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from October 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop!”
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. At the box office, it will face competition from Suriya’s Kanguva, which also stars Disha Patani and Bobby Deol.
There were hints about this release date during Rajinikanth’s recent visit to the Himalayas. In a conversation with a yogi, he hinted, “Vettaiyan will release for Dussehra. I have completed my portions, though shooting with the rest of the cast is still ongoing. The film will be released on October 10.”
He has already wrapped up his parts for the film. To commemorate this milestone, Lyca Productions shared a special moment from Rajini’s last day on set, showing him with the entire Vettaiyan team, with the caption: “And it is a wrap for our Thalaivar! Superstar Rajinikanth completes filming his portion for Vettaiyan.”
This film marks a historic collaboration, as Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth reunite after 33 years. Their last film together was the 1991 blockbuster Hum, and they also starred in Andhaa Kaanoon and Geraftaar. Fans are eagerly awaiting this iconic pairing once again on the big screen!
