Somy Ali’s Zoom Invite to Notorious Gangster Bishnoi
In a surprising twist straight out of a Bollywood thriller, former actress Somy Ali, once linked to Salman Khan, has publicly invited incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom call from Gujarat’s Sabarmati Jail. This bold move comes as Bishnoi claims responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and a close associate of Salman Khan, and issues chilling warnings to anyone connected to the star.
“Namaste, Lawrence Bhai,” She posted, turning heads with her unexpected outreach. “I’ve heard you do Zoom calls even from jail, and I’d like to discuss a few things. Rajasthan is my favourite place—I want to visit your temple for prayer, but let’s chat first. Trust me, this conversation is for your good. Please send me your mobile number; I’d appreciate it. Thank you!”
Their relationship back in the ’90s ended in a highly publicized split, with her previously accusing Salman of domestic violence—claims he has vehemently denied.
Adding to the drama, police have arrested Sukhbir Balbir Singh, known as Sukha, a member of the Bishnoi gang, in connection with a plot to assassinate Salman Khan. Captured in Haryana’s Panipat, Sukha reportedly had ties to a handler in Pakistan named Dogar and was allegedly coordinating plans with gang members to carry out the hit.
The chilling plan included sophisticated weapons like AK-47s and M16s to be smuggled from Pakistan. The police are also keen to question Sukha about his role in the murder of Baba Siddique.
Threats against Salman Khan escalated earlier this year when gunfire erupted outside his Bandra home. An FIR implicated major players like Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Godhara as the masterminds behind the plot.

In June, police uncovered a disturbing conspiracy aimed at targeting Salman during his visits to his farmhouse near Panvel. Gangs led by Bishnoi and Nehra allegedly mobilized between 60 and 70 members to surveil the actor’s movements, tracking him at his residence, the farmhouse, and on film sets. Reports indicated that they were even recruiting minors as sharpshooters and sourcing weapons from Pakistan.
