This year, the students have once again shown their mettle, with the overall pass percentage standing at an impressive 95.81%. This is a significant 1.98% increase from the previous year, reflecting the continuous improvement in the state’s education system. The Konkan region, known for its academic excellence, has topped the performance charts with a pass rate of 99.01%.

Out of the 1,560,154 students who registered for the Maharashtra SSC exam, 1,549,326 appeared, and 1,484,431 passed. The pass percentage for girls is 97.21%, while for boys it is 94.56%.
This year, the Maharashtra board awarded extra marks to students excelling in extracurricular activities such as Art, Sports, and NCC. These marks were given based on [specific criteria, such as participation, performance, or achievements]. A total of 178,865 students received these extra marks.
Nagpur recorded the lowest pass percentage among districts, at 94.73%, while Konkan achieved the highest, at 99.01%.
