Sharmin Segal, the daughter of Bella Bhansali Segal, has come a long way since her debut in the film industry. Starting as an Assistant Director (AD), she later ventured into acting with Malaal in 2019. Amidst the backlash on social media, Sharmin’s Heeramandi co-star Shruti Sharma stepped in to express her support and concern over the negativity directed towards her. “Honestly, I wasn’t aware of the trolling until now. Regardless of who’s being targeted, trolling is never justified. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but trolling crosses the line. It’s a form of mental harassment and should not be condoned. If Sharmin faces this, I am deeply concerned for her well-being,” she conveyed to Pinkvilla, showing a strong sense of camaraderie and support for her fellow actor.
